Today in the Salón Parque of the Metropolitan Santiago events center, representatives of FISA, of the GL events Chile Group, held a breakfast to present a preview of what will be Expo Salud, which will be held between September 6 and 8 of this year. In the instance, it was informed that the health meeting will be spread over 5 thousand square meters and is expected to receive more than 5 thousand visitors, among professionals and executives of the sector, in a commercial and strategic space for the private, academic and public world, where the latest trends of the health industry will be analyzed. Expo Salud will also present more than 500 brands from Chile and abroad. They also indicated that the exhibition will enable health professionals and teams responsible for the areas of management, supply, logistics, attention and patient care in the public and private sectors to find the latest trends and technological solutions that will strengthen the health system. Rodrigo Valenzuela, Manager of Development and New Businesses, pointed out that “this meeting is a unique opportunity for us to meet again, motivating the relationship between exponents of the healthcare world. Today we want to promote commercial exchange, the introduction of new technologies, and the debate on the advances and challenges that arise in medicine today, especially in the areas of infrastructure, digital health and technological development”. Currently, the Expo Salud fair and international congress is the only event in the country for the healthcare sector, where various industry exponents present the latest advances, innovations and solutions to the main problems facing the healthcare sector, which has seen great challenges in the face of the covid-19 pandemic. Likewise, Francisco Sotomayor, executive director of GL events, commented that “after this productive meeting with the various representatives of the health area, we invite everyone to participate in Expo Salud 2022. In previous years, the exhibitors presented excellent results, and today the fair is the right place to show the new trends and advances in technology, equipment, hospital infrastructure and development in the face of the pandemic. In this way, as we know, one of the main concerns of the country and the world will be covered”. HEALTH REPRESENTATIVES The briefing was attended by the Executive Director of the National Center for Health Information Systems (CENS), May Chomalí, who said that “for us it is very important to be part of the generation of Expo Salud, as it is a meeting place for all those involved in the health ecosystem, in the areas that most concern us, especially this year when we will have the opportunity to have within the Congress, topics such as Digital Health and the experiences learned by covid-19. We are very grateful for the call and to participate effectively in the development of this event”. Likewise, the director of CENS invited to be part of the international health meeting. “I would like to extend a special invitation to be part of Expo Salud. We believe that we will have very good speakers at the congress, because we will be able to discuss very important and relevant topics in this post-pandemic moment”. For his part, the Vice-President of the Industrial Association of Pharmaceutical Laboratories (Asilfa), Elmer Torres, pointed out that “we are happy to have a new scenario where we can show the progress and development of everything related to health, from the hospital point of view and of services and care. There are already two large projects in the pharmaceutical industry, so that one day Chile can start producing vaccines against covid-19, which are so necessary for the population. We believe that this is a very good platform to show what is being done in the country”. Finally, he indicated that “Expo Salud is of great importance because health is a basic and fundamental element for every human being. As people become informed, they look for better options for their care. I believe that this fair can show all the benefits offered today by technology and the great advances in healthcare.
