SEK University is the culmination of an entire pedagogical system started in Madrid 128 years ago. With more than 10,000 graduates and 33 years of life, USEK is an autonomous center integrated into the SEK International Institution. On August 8, 1988, the first SEK University was established in Santiago de Chile, as a non-profit Private Law Corporation, under the Decree of Force of Law No. 1 of December 30, 1980 of the Ministry of Education of Chile. T hus, USEK is a young university that began its academic activities in 1990 and aims to create the right conditions for the transmission of knowledge, study, research, personal development and human, scientific and cultural exchanges. SEK University is a university community with a diverse and multidisciplinary environment, whose institutional level was ratified by the Higher Education Council through Agreement No. 111 of December 5, 2002, which granted it full Autonomy. From September 2021 to September 2024 by the National Accreditation Commission (CNA) in Institutional Management and Undergraduate Teaching. Currently, SEK University develops its work in its only headquarters located in Santiago, on the Providencia and Santa Ana campuses, and Annex Santa Laura. Each of them has a strategic location steps from the metro, with highly functional enclosures and with adequate technological infrastructure for the development of day and evening programs, in face-to-face, blended and 100% online modalities. www.usek.cl
