The Asociación Gremial de Arquitectura y Especialidades Hospitalarias (AARQHOS) will have a stand at the outstanding event to be held in September 2022. At the EISACH Congress, architects Vicky Rojas and Laura Alarcón, representing the association, will give two talks on hospital infrastructure. The association will participate with two lectures in the panel “Architecture and Hospital Infrastructure” of the EISACH Congress – International Health Meeting in Chile – which is held in parallel to the fair, where Chilean and international experts address, through lectures, discussions and keynote presentations, the latest trends and challenges in health issues. Vicky Rojas, architect, Executive Director of VR+ARQ and member of the board of directors of AARQHOS, will give a talk on “How to incorporate sustainable design in healthcare spaces”, where she will talk about the various problems related to sustainability and solutions for the design of infrastructure projects in the healthcare area. Laura Alarcón, Architect, Deputy Director (S) of Physical and Financial Resources of the Coquimbo Health Service Directorate and partner of AARQHOS, will give a presentation entitled “Heritage and Health: Therapeutic Diagnostic Center, Hospital La Serena”, whose main theme is the analysis of the context, project formulation, construction process and implementation of the CDT project, which is part of the San Juan de Dios Hospital in La Serena.
