Expo Hospital expands to present a new showcase that integrates the entire ecosystem: Expo Salud, A World of Health -Faced with the challenges facing the healthcare sector and the importance of bringing together in one place its entire value chain, the largest trade fair organizer in Chile, FISA of the GL events Group, announced the transformation of the meeting, which will expand its axes, giving space to new suppliers, products and services. This year, the largest international health fair and congress in Chile, Expo Hospital, which has been in existence for 11 years, announced that its September 2024 meeting will be expanded, seeking to promote a comprehensive transformation, incorporating new lines of business in the sector. At the Health Night, held at the Metropolitan Santiago convention center, FISA, of the GL events Group, announced the official evolution of Expo Hospital, which will become Expo Salud, A World of Health, an international fair and congress that expands its strategic pillars to bring together and respond to the needs of the industry today. “In a world of constant transformation, health evolves and projects new challenges. Expo Salud is the expansion of the Expo Hospital brand, where we will continue to present everything related to hospital infrastructure and technology, but also incorporating four new pillars based on global market growth projections, giving space to new players, products and services,” said Paula Miranda, manager of Expo Salud 2024. For the 2024 version of Expo Salud, A World of Health, the organization has projected a 50% growth compared to the 2023 version, with a more comprehensive showcase of suppliers for the healthcare sector. “Expo Salud presents great challenges. We will have new pillars to incorporate more lines of business, estimating to receive in our next version more than 7,000 professions, to have 150 exhibitors and 500 brands present,” said Miranda. The new version will present a new model in pursuit of the development of health, considering 6 pillars in the exhibition of companies and business networks: -Medical infrastructure and technology -Digital health -Biomedicine and Biotechnology -Research and Development -Laboratory and Pharmaceuticals -Epidemiology and Prevention May Chomali, director of CENS, stated that “I find the transformation of the meeting tremendously interesting, especially because we are looking at a reform more focused on primary care, and the word hospital can be interpreted as something with four walls, with a hospital bed and a surgical ward. So Expo Salud opens up the spectrum and is absolutely in line with what is happening with the development of healthcare in Chile”. For her part, the director of Adimech, Gabriela Garnham, highlighted the participation of the technical committee in the collaborative design of the current international congress, the importance of these networking spaces and called to meet again in the next version of Expo Salud 2024. The new 2024 version of the international congress will be designed with the support and backing of a technical committee, made up of representatives from public and private institutions, who are leading the cutting-edge conversations that are projecting changes towards integral health. In this way, the program of seminars will seek to address the main challenges and gaps present in the industry, contributing to generate a space for dialogue and debate.
